Maternity Care
If you think you are pregnant please call in to the surgery and inform reception. You will then be given a 'Bounty Pack' which includes how to self refer to the midwifery team and other important information. You can also self refer on-line.
Your
antenatal care is shared between you and your GP if you have a low risk
pregnancy. If you have a high risk pregnancy you will be referred to an Obstetrician.
You will be offered screening during your pregnancy including screening for infectious diseases and Down’s Syndrome.
Our Health Visitors are informed once the pregnancy is confirmed and will be in contact with you during the pregnancy and after you give birth.
